I mapped West Virginia's Irish Population with around 2,000 dots.  The clover was hand-drawn too. It wasn't easy!

My friend originally posted this frightening map on facebook, but I was searching through google maps and stumbled on it again. Each dot represents a Mcdonald's location.  There are a lot, eh?

This is my natural break map.  It has slightly more variability than the equal interval.

This is my equal interval map.  Variability is very low, but consistency is very high.

The only issue with this World Cities Population Map is that there is no city labeling!  Other than the absence of titles, I really like the general layout of this piece.

Here is my fourth lab, titled boundaries.  I had a hard time making Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. all appear visually distinct from one another, since I could only highlight individual counties and not states.  Enjoy

This map reveals Florida's swine flu outbreak in 2009.  The northern, central, and southern regions seem to have the highest number of outbreaks, with the in-between regions virtually spotless.  I wonder why

This lab was the first one that really tested my cartographic sense of positioning.  However, I still managed to finish the titles for the Harpers Ferry National Park area! enjoy
