The Future

Rail_map
This is a simple concept of the future American high speed rail network.  Generation Y's disregard of "environmental destructive" cars and others automobiles is really scaring car manufacturers.  More young people have chosen instead to take the bus, train, bike, or even walking to their priorities.

Typographical World Map

This is a popular map that my classmates may have too, but nonetheless I wanted to highlight its experimental qualites.  Using this kind of snowboard-sticker rebel typefont to label countries of the world combines skill with innovation.  Granted, ocean and island names are not included (instead a light brown background), and it is not the most technical oriented, but I really like the type's artsy boldness.

U.S. National Parks Map

National_parks
This is a map labeling the location of all U.S. National Parks, including the ones found in U.S. territories, like the American Samoa.  I thoroughly enjoy traveling to new regions, and hope to drive cross-country after I graduate. I will visit a few of these parks, especially Petrified Forest in Arizona, or the cliff dwelling civilizations of Mesa Verde in Colorado.
